The Scream

The noise was so loud it sounded like banshees going to war with silence. It crackled. I looked up at the 35 metre cliff covered in blood. My own blood. Jake sniggered and ran. I limped to catch up. The screech tore my ears. I needed help. I cried, the screech got louder until I fell asleep. That was the end I thought; I hoped. Instead I was being dragged towards the sound that made my heart bleed. My organs burst and my elbow felt as if shattered. Jake. He dragged me into this.
